PC-12 NG Instructor Pilot

Responsible for academic platform instruction, simulator instruction and flight instruction for Spanish-speaking, partner nation trainees. Delivers academic instruction in a classroom environment with or without interpreter support. Prepares daily discussions, plans, charts and other supporting documation. Prepares daily briefings/debriefings and prepares weekly academic and flying schedules if required. Conducts pre-mission preparations to include performance planning, TOLD, weather/notams review, risk assessment, contingency planning and pre-flight inspection. Instructs partner nation fixed-wing instructor pilots in all facets of the Intel, Surveillence and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. Maintains basic aircraft, IFR and Night Vision Goggle currency in accordance with FAA reguirements. Receives evaluations from AETC/A3Q Standardization Pilots as required. Administers USAF Form 8 evaluations as required on behalf of USAF/AETC. Maintains Class II Medical Certification. Prepares periodic status reports, end-of-course exams and graduation documentation IAW specified customer format. Spanish Language preferred, but not required.

Required Skills: - Must be qualified in the PC-12/45 or PC-12/47(NG) series aircraft
- Must meet recency of experience requirements (Min 90 hours in Airplane category within the preceeding 180 days)
- Spanish Language (speaking/writing) is beneficial, but not required.
- Must possess a FAA Commercial Instrument Airplane Rating
- Must possess a FAA Airplane Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Rating
- Must possess a Class I or II FAA Medical Certification

Position: Atmospherics and Security Assessments Country Manager (Kabul):

Description: Seeking seasoned professional to serve as the senior Hoplite Group officer in Afghanistan. This position is responsible for ensuring effective reporting, accurate atmospherics collection, real-time threat assessments, and fused reporting to PAE incountry
management. This individual is responsible for the operational employment and general administrative support of all personnel associated with Hoplite Group support of our prime contractor. The Country Manager can be a U.S. or UK citizen; Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree desired; 3 years prior experience in Afghanistan, preferably in an intel/counter-intel role; must have demonstrated ability to interact well with a large Afghan/Local National staff; 1099-position; compensation is commensurate with experience; 12-month rotation with 14-day (plus 3 travel days) break after sixmonths forward preferred, minimum of 6-month rotation; paid only when forward.

 

Position: Senior Reports Officer (Kabul):

Description: Primarily responsible for the daily updates, weekly incident round-up and assessments, and monthly trend reporting. Manages watch officers and coordinates with the Deputy Country Manager and Regional Managers to ensure prompt reporting of security incidents and accurate compilation of security threat assessments. As the program’s senior atmospherics analyst, this position is critical in maintaining the best situational awareness across the country. Responsible for the monitoring of warning and indications that would help Hoplite Group management provide threat assessment modifications and recommendations to the prime contractor’s management section.
Leads team of Deputy Reports Officer and 3 Watch Officers in monitoring Afghan security reports or warnings, interacts with Embassy RSOs/RSAs and NATO points of contact, and a wide network of social media outlets and civil society contacts. Must be U.S. or UK citizen. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree desired; 18 months prior experience in Afghanistan, preferably in atmospherics, intel, or journalist role; must have demonstrated ability to interact well with a large Afghan/Local National staff; 1099-position; compensation is commensurate with experience; 12-month rotation with 14-day (plus 3 travel days) break after six-months forward preferred, minimum of 6-month rotation; paid only when forward.

 

Position: Accounting Associate (U.S. Based)

Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for finance and accounting duties such as reviewing, coding and processing accounts payable and expense reports, credit card reconciliations and timekeeping administration. As The Hoplite Group is a government

Essential responsibilities:
• Manage corporate financial transactions, accounts receivables, accounts payable, banking, invoice reconciliation, data analysis
• Prepare, review, coding, and processing of payable and receivable invoices
• Accurate coordination of semi-monthly payroll each pay period using current timecard and accounting system – includes various contracts with different earn code requirements both within in the continental US and outside the US.

Position: Fire Management Pilot

Job Description: The Fire Management Pilot supports the Fire Management department and the customer by providing safe and professional short notice on-demand aerial firefighting flight operations in Beechcraft King Air 90 aircraft.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform all duties and responsibilities of Pilot and Command (PIC)
  • Conduct short notice on-demand aerial firefighting flights in based out of various bases dependent upon national firefighting needs

Position Title: Instructor, Intercultural Competency for SOF (ICSOF)

Instructors will present a culture-general course for SOF Operators who will be engaging in direct, face-to-face interactions with international personnel as part of their duties. The course seeks to provide students with general knowledge and skills to quickly and accurately comprehend, then appropriately and effectively act, in a culturally complex environment to achieve the desired effect without necessarily having prior exposure to a particular group, region or its languages. Students will be taught how to apply communication and negotiation skills in role-playing scenarios, and will be exposed to a variety of hands-on exercises that will challenge their own cultural norms. Additionally, the course will address topics in comparative religions, military culture, gender dynamics, food and health concerns in an intercultural setting, and culture shock. The instructor shall have experience developing curricula and teaching materials.

Citizenship Requirement: U.S.

Years of Experience: 2 years of experience teaching cross-cultural/intercultural studies to post-secondary learners

Education: ICSOF instructors shall have at least a master’s degree with at least 18 under-graduate semester credit hours and 18 graduate semester hours directly related to cultural studies, international relations, anthropology, sociology, or other related academic discipline. The ICSOF course is a Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) accredited course and its instructors must be CCAF accredited. Position Title: Instructor, Building Partnership Aviation Capacity Seminar (BPACS)

Required Skill(s): Secret Clearance. BPACS is a Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) approved culture general seminar for international partners and SOF students on diverse cultural approaches to international aviation enterprise development. This course recognizes the different approaches to aviation development based on differing national security priorities rooted in cultural differences and resourcing capacity. The seminar is designed to educate attendees on the core attributes and varied international approaches to aviation enterprise development as it benefits national security strategy formulation and execution. In particular, the seminar presents relevant topics on the means through which the US seeks to build partnership aviation capacity. Topics are selected based on guidance presented in the 2015 US National Security Strategy, US Presidential Policy Directive 23 on Security Sector Assistance, the 2011 USAF Global Partnership Strategy, and the USSOCOM CDR FY 15-18 Training and Education Guidance key tasks listing. The target seminar group is 15 US and 15 international participants. This seminar specifically benefits the SOCOM goal to build the Global SOF network because participants are recruited from priority SOF countries. The course features resident faculty instructors, along with guest civilian and military subject-matter experts from across the US Interagency structure from international security organizations, as appropriate.

-- The Instructor shall have developed curricula and teaching materials related to the area of expertise for course at the undergraduate and graduate level

-- Knowledge of a foreign language is preferred, but not required

-- Citizenship Requirement: U.S.

Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years of formal military or US government experience in international aviation partnership building. Experience must be verified by DD Form 214 or similar US Government employment verification. The Instructor shall have at least 2 years of experience teaching to military audiences in a manner that is student focused. At least 2 years of experience living overseas directly supporting a US aviation security cooperation mission. The mission must have been part of the US Department of Defense Theater Security Cooperation Campaign Plan (TSCP).

2 years of experience teaching cross-cultural/intercultural studies to post-secondary learners

Education: BPACS instructor must have at least a master’s degree with at least 18 under-graduate semester credit hours and 24 graduate semester hours directly related to US national security strategy, international relations, aviation leadership, political science, or other related academic discipline to be approved by the Government.
