Position: Airborne Data Acquisition FTR

Job Description: The Airborne Data Acquisition FTR role exists to support the ADA department by performing all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on assigned aircraft.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on assigned aircraft or ground support equipment
  • Maintain parts inventory with aircraft and report all parts received from VBW
  • Communicate critical information to company headquarters, establish relationship with other service providers at each location the plane is stationed
  • Act as customer service representative with tasks as requested by management/pilots, assist pilots with aircraft servicing pre/post flight
  • Independently develop work schedules and assignments to accomplish job responsibilities
  • Responsible for providing receipts to corporate accounting
  • Responsible for emailing aircraft status, maintenance expenses, daily location, monthly inventory reporting and activities via email/fax form to management

Position: Fire Management Pilot

Job Description: The Fire Management Pilot supports the Fire Management department and the customer by providing safe and professional short notice on-demand aerial firefighting flight operations in Beechcraft King Air 90 aircraft.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform all duties and responsibilities of Pilot and Command (PIC)
  • Conduct short notice on-demand aerial firefighting flights in based out of various bases dependent upon national firefighting needs
  • Conduct on-demand repositioning flights
  • Conduct flight operations in accordance with Part 135 regulations, operations specifications, and Dynamic operating procedures and policies
  • Conduct flights primarily in single pilot operations and some two pilot operations
  • Conduct flight checks after maintenance or for reliability purposes
  • Conduct and manage operations in a remote environment while conforming to rules and procedures.
  • Manage necessary work in a manner that integrates with duty and rest requirements in order to provide for the safest operation and the least amount of disruption to operations

  • Execute occasional scheduled or on-call flight operations outside of normal duties to include potentially long-term flight assignments for the purpose of supporting company operations

Job Requirements:

  • Commercial Pilot or ATP Multi-engine (unrestricted) certificate with instrument rating
  • Willingness and ability to obtain an ATP certificate in the future
  • The following minimum qualifications:
  • Experience and qualifications listed in Part 135.243 PIC under IFR
  • 1500 hours total time with at least 1200 hours in an airplane
  • 200 hours multi-engine land with at least 75 hours multi-engine land in the last year
  • 200 hours flying over mountainous terrain as defined by AIM 5-6-5 or other similar terrain
  • Second class medical certificate with ability to obtain and maintain a first class medical certificate
  • Ability to travel and make travel arrangements on short notice for movement from one fire location to another
  • Ability to be issued an Interagency Pilot Qualification Card (i.e. pass the pilot carding process)
  • Ability to work self-directed or closely with a team
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assigned duties
  • Ability to demonstrate exemplary performance as a professional aviator

Position Title: Instructor, Intercultural Competency for SOF (ICSOF)

Required Skill(s):  Secret Clearance. Instructors will present a culture-general course for SOF Operators who will be engaging in direct, face-to-face interactions with international personnel as part of their duties. The course seeks to provide students with general knowledge and skills to quickly and accurately comprehend, then appropriately and effectively act, in a culturally complex environment to achieve the desired effect without necessarily having prior exposure to a particular group, region or its languages. Students will be taught how to apply communication and negotiation skills in role-playing scenarios, and will be exposed to a variety of hands-on exercises that will challenge their own cultural norms. Additionally, the course will address topics in comparative religions, military culture, gender dynamics, food and health concerns in an intercultural setting, and culture shock. The instructor shall have experience developing curricula and teaching materials.

Citizenship Requirement: U.S.

Years of Experience: 2 years of experience teaching cross-cultural/intercultural studies to post-secondary learners

Education: ICSOF instructors shall have at least a master’s degree with at least 18 under-graduate semester credit hours and 18 graduate semester hours directly related to cultural studies, international relations, anthropology, sociology, or other related academic discipline. The ICSOF course is a Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) accredited course and its instructors must be CCAF accredited. Therefore, ICSOF instructors must provide official college transcripts upon employment for CCAF accreditation.

Position Title: Instructor, Building Partnership Aviation Capacity Seminar (BPACS)

Required Skill(s): Secret Clearance. BPACS is a Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) approved culture general seminar for international partners and SOF students on diverse cultural approaches to international aviation enterprise development. This course recognizes the different approaches to aviation development based on differing national security priorities rooted in cultural differences and resourcing capacity. The seminar is designed to educate attendees on the core attributes and varied international approaches to aviation enterprise development as it benefits national security strategy formulation and execution. In particular, the seminar presents relevant topics on the means through which the US seeks to build partnership aviation capacity. Topics are selected based on guidance presented in the 2015 US National Security Strategy, US Presidential Policy Directive 23 on Security Sector Assistance, the 2011 USAF Global Partnership Strategy, and the USSOCOM CDR FY 15-18 Training and Education Guidance key tasks listing. The target seminar group is 15 US and 15 international participants. This seminar specifically benefits the SOCOM goal to build the Global SOF network because participants are recruited from priority SOF countries. The course features resident faculty instructors, along with guest civilian and military subject-matter experts from across the US Interagency structure from international security organizations, as appropriate.

-- The Instructor shall have developed curricula and teaching materials related to the area of expertise for course at the undergraduate and graduate level

-- Knowledge of a foreign language is preferred, but not required

-- Citizenship Requirement: U.S.

Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years of formal military or US government experience in international aviation partnership building. Experience must be verified by DD Form 214 or similar US Government employment verification. The Instructor shall have at least 2 years of experience teaching to military audiences in a manner that is student focused. At least 2 years of experience living overseas directly supporting a US aviation security cooperation mission. The mission must have been part of the US Department of Defense Theater Security Cooperation Campaign Plan (TSCP).

Five years of formal school house experience may be substituted for degree requirement. Basic knowledge should cover the following aircraft: AC-130U/W, MC-130H/J, U-28, CV-22, C-145, C-146, and MQ-9.

Essential duties:

  • Conducts administrator duties to ensure compiling, writing, editing and publishing approximately 60 different Syllabi of Instruction (SOI) for Combat Mission Ready (CMR) and Advanced Tactical Readiness (ATR) for all of AFSOC's aircrew positions.
  • Responsible for management of Air Commando Indoctrination (ACI).
  • Conducts front end analysis, editing, reviewing, other training documents and instructions.
  • Courseware support includes AFSOC's flying training courseware for Air Commando Development (ACD) created at
  • Hurlburt Field, Florida (FL) to include CMR and ATR. Courseware is the foundation of instruction for new AFSOC aircrew members via CMR as well as upgrade training for existing aircrew via ATR.

Job description: Full time person to work business development for Air Center Helicopters, Inc., of Ft Worth, Texas. Person should have some type of background associated with aviation preferably rotary wing. Must become knowledgeable of DoD procurement and contracting procedures and how requirements of AFRICOM, CENTCOM, SOCOM and TRANSCOM develop. Person should be familiar with the relationships between those organizations, the Services, and the TSOCs; the influence of OSD, STATE DEPT; and the budgeting process. This person will be primary lead for our company’s new business pursuits with the USG including establishing business/personal relationships with, and communications with the customer military organizations requiring DoD CARB certified rotary wing airlift support for passengers, cargo, and PR/CASEVAC. Will participate in company new business planning and writing of responses to government Requests for Information and Requests for Proposals. Will require frequent travel to the customer headquarters, contracting locations, and DoD/Industry events to develop relationships, track developing requirements, conduct customer service visits, and to report to corporate headquarters.
