Frequently Asked Questions

You can join online at any time on our secure site, or you can call ACA Member Relations at (850) 581-0099. Representatives are available from 9am to 4pm Monday through Friday.

Membership in the ACA is open to:

  • Active duty/retired/separated military personnel who are and/or were assigned to, attached to or served with or supported any Air Commando/Special Operations Unit. To include Guard and Reserve Special Operators.
  • Spouses of deceased members.

  • Individuals, who at the discretion of the ACA Executive Board, who are deserving persons not otherwise eligible for one of the other membership categories.


If you are a current USAF Special Operations student, please enroll through your ACA student membership liaison. If you do not know who your liaison is, contact Dennis Barnett at (850) 581-0099 for assistance.
 

There are four categories of membership: Regular, Special, Honorary, and Associate. Membership can be on an annual or lifetime basis.
 

Regular Members: Active duty/retired/separated military personnel who are and/or were assigned to, attached to or served with or supported any Air Commando/Special Operations Unit.

Special Members: Spouses of deceased members.

Honorary Members: Membership awarded at the discretion of the ACA Executive Board to deserving person not otherwise eligible for one of the other membership categories.

Associate Members: Person who apply for membership not otherwise classed in the above membership categories. 

ACA membership is based on a calendar cycle, so all single-year memberships expire at the end of December. However, you may renew your membership as early as October or as late as March. If you do not renew by the end of March, your benefits of membership and Members-Only registration will be deactivated.

 

If you are a current member, you may update change your information in several ways:

  • Call ACA Member Relations at (850) 581-0099
  • E-mail your changes (along with your name and data required to be changed) through our secure Contact Us form

There are several types of payment options. If you are paying online or by phone, you may choose one of several credit card options. We accept MasterCard, Visa, or Discover.

If you mail in your application and payment, you may pay by credit card or a check made out to the Air Commando Association.

Members with questions about ACA memberships, events, newsletters or the Air Commando Journal can call ACA Member Relations at (850) 581-0099 from 9am -4pm, Monday through Friday. Or you can e-mail a member relations representative at member@aircommando.org

ACAOnline

ACAOnline features everything Air Commando Association, from membership signup forms, event registration, photos of all ACA events, Air Commando Foundation news and fund raisers, Corporate Partner information, Air Commando Journal archives, even the Commando Store.
