Who should I contact with questions about my membership?

Members with questions about ACA memberships, events, or the Air Commando Journal can call ACA Member Relations at (850) 581-0099 from 9am -4pm, Monday through Friday. Or you can e-mail a member relations representative at member@aircommando.org

What are some of the different payment options?
  • If you are paying online you will be directed to our online payment processor – PayPal when you complete the application online.
  • If you pay by phone (call 850-581-0099) we accept all major credit cards: American Express, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover.
  • If you mail in your application and payment, you may pay by credit card or a check made out to the Air Commando Association.
How do I update my address and information?
  • Current members are encouraged to login on the members only page to update their personal information
  • Call ACA Member Relations at (850) 581-0099
  • E-mail your changes (along with your name and data required to be changed) through our secure Contact Us form
When will I be asked to renew my membership?

If you are an annual member your dues are based on a calendar cycle, so all single-year memberships expire at the end of December. However, you may renew your membership as early as October or as late as March. If you do not renew by the end of March, your benefits of membership and Members-Only access to this site will be deactivated.

What are the different categories of membership?

There are three categories of membership: Regular, Associate, and Honorary. Regular memberships can be on an annual or lifetime basis.

Regular Members: Active duty/retired/separated military personnel who are and/or were assigned to, attached to or served with or supported any Air Commando/Special Operations Unit. To include Guard and Reserve Special Operators. Choose from annual or lifetime levels.

Honorary Members: Membership awarded at the discretion of the ACA Executive Board to deserving person not otherwise eligible for one of the other membership categories.

Associate Members: Person who apply for membership not otherwise classed in the above membership categories.

Who is eligible to be a member of the ACA?

Membership in the ACA is open to:

Active duty/retired/separated military personnel who are and/or were assigned to, attached to or served with or supported any Air Commando/Special Operations Unit. To include Guard and Reserve Special Operators.
Individuals, who at the discretion of the ACA Executive Board, who are deserving persons not otherwise eligible for one of the other membership categories.

Widows of persons eligible for ACA membership may participate in our organization though our Legacy Flight, please contact our office for more information.

How do I join?

You can join online at any time on our secure site, or you can call ACA Member Relations at (850) 581-0099. Representatives are available from 9am to 4pm Monday through Friday.

Is There a Chapter Near Me?

The ACA has nearly 4,000 members worldwide. In addition, we have eight chapters. They are: Cannon AFB, Carolina, Emerald Coast (Hurlburt Field), Kadena AB, Kirtland AFB, Mildenhall RAFB, the Rocky Mountain region, the Tampa Bay Area, and Washington D.C. To continue “bridging past to future”, there is a growing need to recruit new and invite previous members to rejoin our ranks.

Each chapter has it own Board of Directors and elected officials live in the immediate area. The benefits of belonging to a chapter are many and vary from person to person. Topping the list are: supporting local fundraisers that give back to your community; being involved in Air Commando activities close to home; and representing the ACA at events and ceremonies.
