We are extremely grateful for the immediate assistance you provided to Senior Airman Danielle Szymczyk, her husband, US Army Sergeant Jerry Szymczyk, and their two children, Jordan and Aubrey.

Within eight hours of contact from our wing command chief, Chief Master Sergeant Michael Klausutis, you were able to provide Danielle with airline tickets for her and her daughter. The family was reunited the very next day at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Maryland. Sgt Szymczyk had just been transferred there to recover from surgery he had in Germany, due to the injuries he sustained in an lED incident in Afghanistan.

The Szymczyk family has been put in touch with a SOCOM Cares representative in the National Capital Region. Jerry is currently an outpatient at Walter Reed as of 14 May and will remain there while he continues to recover.

Thank you wholeheartedly from the Szymczyk's 919th Special Operations Wing family. Your organization's generous donation and quick response was of immeasurable assistance in reuniting this family and taking care of one of our own.

Colonel James M. Robison, Commander 919th Operations Group,
