Rene Leon

Rene Leon, Col, USAF (Retired) is a 31-year Air Force veteran, retiring in summer of 2022 after serving as the AFSOC A4, the Director of Logistics, Engineering, and Force Protection for over 5 years. During his career as an aircraft maintenance officer, he has supported over 25 types of fixed, rotary, and tilt-rotor aircraft. He has served across four different major commands, Headquarters Air Force at the Pentagon, and USSOCOM in Tampa. Rene’s command tours have all been either war-time commands in USCENTCOM or within AFSOC, and like many recent retirees, he has accumulated several years of deployed experience mostly in the USCENTCOM AOR. Rene has spent 12 of his last 15 years in the special operations community serving in squadron and group command, Headquarters AFSOC, and Headquarters USSOCOM.
